As newly Weds, my husband and I agreed we will start having children immediately and as luck would have it, i missed my period that month and knew right away that I was pregnant. We were happy and kept the news to ourselves. At 7 weeks I was having serious abdominal cramps and a bit of spotting, we went to the hospital,had a scan and got the news that we lost the pregnancy, an evacuation was immediately advised by the doctor and it was carried out, it was quite painful. The whole miscarriage experience had an effect not just on my body but on my mental health also. This topic is one that is hardly spoken about.
